With a degree in Gastronomy and Tourism and a diploma in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE), he offers a unique blend of linguistic expertise and cultural depth.
Specializing in Grammar, Business Spanish and Culinary Spanish, Óscar draws on his background as an international chef to enrich lessons with authentic vocabulary, cultural insights, and real-world contexts. Martha Cruz
Martha Cruz is a retired teacher and certified Spanish instructor from Oaxaca, Mexico, with years of experience in education and a passion for sharing her language and culture. Her lessons focus on conversation and are conducted 100% in Spanish, making them ideal for learners seeking a truly immersive experience.
She creates her own materials and adapts each class to her students’ interests and goals, exploring topics such as Mexican traditions, culture, society, and everyday life. Her patient and supportive approach helps students develop fluency, vocabulary, and listening skills while communicating naturally in Spanish.
With a deep connection to Oaxacan culture, including participating in the Guelaguetza festival in her youth, Martha brings authenticity and personal experience to every class. With Martha, students don’t just learn Spanish, they experience the language through its culture.

Martha Gómez is a certified Spanish teacher from Oaxaca, Mexico, with more than six years of experience teaching Spanish as a foreign language to students worldwide. With a B.A. in Education and an International Diploma in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE), she combines academic expertise with a practical, student-centered approach.
Martha specializes in guiding learners to improve their conversation, grammar, and comprehension skills through personalized lessons tailored to each student’s needs. She creates a welcoming and interactive environment where students feel comfortable practicing and gaining fluency at their own pace.
Her lessons go beyond language, offering valuable insights into the rich culture and traditions of Oaxaca, helping students connect authentically with both Spanish and the vibrant heritage of Mexico.

Miguel Gómez
Hi! I’m Miguel, founder of Lingórbita and a native Spanish teacher from Oaxaca, Mexico, with over 10 years of teaching experience.
I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics specializing in TESOL and have professional training in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. I also speak French, which has given me firsthand experience with the challenges and rewards of learning another language.
I’ve taught students from around the world, helping them build confidence through conversation, practical grammar, and real-life Spanish.
