Miguel Gómez

Founder & Language Instructor

Hi, I’m Miguel Gómez, founder of Lingórbita. I’m a language educator with over 10 years of experience teaching English and Spanish, both online and in person.

Throughout my career, I’ve taught students across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, working with learners from a wide range of linguistic and cultural backgrounds. This international experience has shaped a teaching approach that is flexible, communicative, and responsive to each student’s goals.

I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics specializing in TESOL from Universidad Europea del Atlántico and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with Human Resources from Edinburgh Napier University in the United Kingdom. My professional development also includes DIELE training in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, IELTS teacher training through IDP IELTS, specialized Spanish grammar training, and studies at Tecnológico de Monterrey.

My experience ranges from A1 to C2 and includes general English and Spanish, Business English, and specialized professional English for fields such as hospitality and tourism.

I founded Lingórbita to create the kind of language education I believe in: structured enough to make real progress, flexible enough to meet individual needs, and practical enough to use beyond the classroom.
